President Donald Trump debuted his new national security adviser Robert O’Brien while answering questions from reporters before departing from Los Angeles on Sep. 18. Trump praised O’Brien’s work as a hostage negotiator and said he and the new security adviser “have a very good chemistry together.” “We have a number of challenges, but we have a great team in place,” O’Brien said, emphasizing the need to rebuild the military so the U.S. can implement a “peace through strength” strategy.
