Описание: Good news! RSF is extremely relieved to learn that Al Jazeera journalist Fadi al-Wahidi was evacuated from #Gaza to Cairo.

On 9 October 2024, 24-year-old photojournalist was hit in the neck by an Israeli sniper while filming the siege of the Jabalia camp in Northern #Gaza. Even after initial treatment at Al-Maamadani Hospital, his transfer outside of Gaza means he will be able to receive proper medical care.

We reiterate our call for the protection of reporters and combating impunity for crimes committed against them.

Le 9 octobre 2024, le photojournaliste âgé de 24 ans a été ciblé dans le cou par un sniper israélien alors qu’il filmait le siège du camp de Jabalia, au nord de l’enclave palestinienne. Après un premier traitement à l'hôpital Al-Maamadani, son évacuation hors de Gaza signifie qu’il pourra recevoir les soins médicaux appropriés.
