In this video tell you how to avoid going wrong on your paintings by focusing on drawing, value, temperature and edges. I use a cat painting time lapse video tutorial to demonstrate the points I am making. I also tell you about my own struggles with this painting and what I did when I thought it was lost and I would have to abandon it half way through.
colours used:
cadmium yellow, yellow ochre light, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, ultramarine deep, burnt umber, zinc titanium white
Brushes used:
flat brushes - Art Master Pearl Series, round brushes - ProArt, long haired brushes - Rosemary & Co Eclipse Long Haired Comber
Mediums used:
gamsol (layer 1), small amount of linseed oil (layers 2, 3, 4)
