Second run – 3:02.341 – new personal best 😁
Roughly 0.6s faster than the first run, but packed with mistakes after upping the pace – and 🐽 wasn’t exactly thrilled.
This was our first race running all 4 Hoosiers.
Unfortunately, only two softs arrived instead of four, so the weekend tire strategy got thrown off. I had to run harder fronts (from Malačka), and while the first run felt okay, the second one exposed the front–rear compound mismatch.
As the rear started to grip more, the front began letting go. Still, lots of potential here for the future! 🙌
A long, hot weekend got even spicier with the battle for P2 vs. Marko Pleše – not easy at all.
During the second run I honestly thought the mistakes might cost more than the pace I was gaining 🥵
Can’t wait for next year’s rematch!
