Day five of the crisis saw the US military accelerating its assault on Iran claiming Iran's defences have been so damaged that it can move to a new phase of closer range strikes.
US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed that a US submarine sank an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka, marking the first US attack on Iranian forces outside of the Middle East.
At least 87 people were killed.
More than 1,000 civilians have been killed in Iran since the conflict broke out on Saturday according to Human Rights agencies.
Meanwhile, around 400 people are on their way to Ireland on an Emirates airline flight that left Dubai airport at lunchtime.
