Sarah Leigh is a neurodivergent/disabled, working-class filmmaker and the founder of INCLUSIVITY FILMS. Her company is dedicated to ensuring that at least 50% of the cast and crew on every production identify as d/Deaf, disabled, and/or neurodivergent. Supported by Creative UK/BFI and a Women in Film & Television UK mentee in 2023, Sarah’s achievements are both impressive and inspirational.
Highlights of Sarah’s Career:
Directed the award-winning short film TYPICAL?, earning a Royal Television Society award in Directing.
Wrote and directed ONE FOR THE ROAD, based on a Stephen King short story.
Her screenplay, ONE DAY, was an Official Selection at the BAFTA/Oscar-qualifying Flickers’ Rhode Island Film Festival.
