It's not really hard at all, just annoying in certain sequences where the camera pulls back and you are vulnerable against other enemies when you can't properly see, and also with detection issues on grabbing walls to climb and falling off of Cronos. Unpopular opinion here but I think this fight sucks.

This is a guide through God of War 3. The footage is from the PS4 remaster played on the PS5 and captured through OBS but the footage has slight delay in its sound. This walkthrough is fully-commentated and will help you understand the different encounters in the game and what tools to use to beat them.

What changes in Chaos Mode?

1. Increased Damage - enemies do significantly more damage.
2. Increased Health - enemies take more hits to kill.
3. Orb Decrease - any red orbs earned for upgrades, green orbs for health, blue orbs for magic, and gold orbs for rage - these are significantly reduced meaning upgrades for your weapons take longer to acquire, and if your health and magic are at critical levels, sometimes even a chest cannot fully restore them to full unlike other difficulties.
