Digital audio workstations have all the toys and tricks, and sounds available are better than ever before.
There’s one problem however - individuality.....
If there’s a commercially available set of sounds, then everyone can have them!
In this video, I sample my bass guitar, the purpose of which is to put it on the left hand side of a keyboard, so I can also play chords with the other hand, the keyboard having been split into two MIDI channels.
I describe in detail the first two notes, but not the other 23 notes, as it’s a simple repeat process.

8:23 1st fret F sampling
13:12 editing the 25 tracks (25 notes sampled in all), and trimming/preparing files for export
17:05 exporting files and testing the first three notes, E, F and F# in the sampler
19:45 Connecting keyboard up to test the whole 25 note range. Tweaking release time for realistic sound.
