Programming a 28C16 EEPROM using a Raspberry Pi 3... having been inspired by Ben Eater, who programmed the EEPROM using an Arduino.
I have yet to build an 8-bit breadboard computer. Maybe this time, I will follow along with the W65C02 series. I have most of the parts!
Anyway, hardware for this hobby project:
( 2 ) BusBoard Prototype Systems BB830T breadboards
( 1 ) Adafruit T-Cobbler Plus for Raspberry Pi
( 2 ) 74HC595 shift registers
( 1 ) Cylewet 8-channel bi-directional logic level converter
( 3 ) 10K resistors
( 2 ) 0.1uF capacitors across the breadboard power rails
and, of course, a Raspberry Pi 3 along with a 28C16 EEPROM chip.
