An introduction to a handful of influential graphic designers past and present—like Wim Crouwel, Jacqueline Casey, David Carson and Non-Format—and we’re looking at “type-only” work. Design that is fully derived from typography whether it be minimal and spare (Emil Ruder) or chaotic and noisy (David Carson). Recorded in Joshua Hardisty’s Intro to Typography class at Minneapolis College of Art + Design, Summer 2019.
