As much as I loved the end of the manga, I kind of wish we had a glimpse of what happened to them post-canon. After all, they spent years trying to avoid getting too close to each other -but then there is suddenly nothing to stop them anymore. That would have been wonderful to see them progressively dropping their secrets, silences and pretences.
So, erm, behind them ~holding hands~ post-canon are the dunes of Ishbal.
(Hayaaateuh, forever implying things in a totally non-subtle way.)
