📌 Project: ESP8266 NodeMCU Based Home Automation System
This project demonstrates a simple yet powerful home automation system built using the ESP8266 NodeMCU microcontroller. The system integrates multiple sensors and relays to provide both automatic and manual control of household appliances through a web-based interface.
🔧 Features of the Project:
DHT11 Sensor → Reads real-time temperature and humidity.
LDR Sensor → Detects light intensity (day/night detection).
Dual Relays → Controls devices such as lights and fans.
Web Server (ESP8266) → Displays live sensor data and provides manual switching controls.
Two Control Modes →
Automatic Mode: Appliances controlled based on sensor readings.
Manual Mode: User can operate relays directly via the web dashboard.
Data Logging → Sensor readings and system actions are stored in the ESP8266 file system (SPIFFS).
Responsive Dashboard → Designed with Tailwind CSS for a clean, mobile-friendly interface.
🌐 How It Works:
The ESP8266 connects to Wi-Fi and hosts a local web server.
Users can access the dashboard on their phone or PC to monitor temperature, humidity, and light levels.
Based on conditions:
Lights turn ON/OFF automatically depending on LDR readings.
Fan turns ON/OFF automatically depending on temperature thresholds.
Users can switch to manual mode to override and control relays.
