How to List Variation Items on Bestbuy using Feed File

Описание: Today I will show you how to list variation items on the best buy marketplace using a feed file.


Adding variation manually is time consuming. Sometimes you may need to list more items within a short period of time. If you want to add them one by one it will take too long. But you can manage this just using a feed file/ bulk upload.

Now let's walk you to the full procedure

✅Login to your best buy account and Go to My Inventory - Import from file

✅In the file import page, go to the right side and you will see different file template under the File templates option. Now click on the file template according to your requirement

✅You will be redirected to another page Configure and download an operator Excel file template. In this page, you need to select the file type from the dropdown

✅Products: Will generate the Product part only
✅Offers: Will generate the Offer Characteristics section only
✅Products and Offers: By selecting this, you can generate both Products and offer characteristics together
✅Prices: select this template if you need to update the existing product price/ apply discount

✅Select the requirement level of attributes. Either you can select all attributes or you can just select the required/ required and recommended attributes

✅Select the categories

✅Select a Language, and then click on Generate template button

✅Open the Flat file and fill up all the required and recommended attributes

You need to fill up the Category code, Shop SKU, Item Title, Short description ( describe your product within 400 characters or fewer)
Brand name, Primary UPC, Model Number, Manufacturer's part number . Long description (add some more details/ specifics about your product),
Put the image link( you can add up to 10 image urls)
you can see some other recommended/optional attributes. These additional attributes will increase the product visibility. As they are not required, so either you can fill them up or skip


✅To create a variation listing, you need to fill up the variant group code for all the products that should be in the same group

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 - 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝟒𝟎 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬

✅Once you complete the excel file, save the file and then go back the import from file option

✅Select the excel file you want to import, select the file content and import mode also. Then click on the import button

✅Click on Track Product Imports to monitor the uploading status

✅Also you can check the newly added variant group code from the 'Catalog Management' section
