Stop hate speech on the internet

Описание: Let's stop violence on the Internet. Offensive and provocative messages or comments on the Internet can have the same effect on a person as face-to-face confrontations. Often, the people behind the hateful comments do not realize how much impact their actions can have. At first glance, this may seem to be nothing serious, but we never know to what extent our malicious comment may affect another. More and more, the online world merges with the real world and becomes part of us.
Cyberbullying is also directly defined in the National Strategy for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment. It is therefore a type of bullying with the help of new information and communication technologies (i.e. mainly via the Internet and mobile phones). Examples include anonymous passionate or hate emails, harassment via text messages. Cyberbullying shares three basic characteristics with classic bullying: intention, repetitive action (duration in time) and imbalance of power (e.g. physical strength, access to certain information, social status, popularity with other children, in the case of cyberbullying also technological skills,…) . However, it differs from it by other specifics: anonymity of attacks (in many cases the aggressor acts anonymously), enhancing loss of empathy (due to anonymity and distance that information technology allows, the aggressor does not see the victim's direct emotional reaction), audience (attacks are accessible to large unlimited circle of viewers), time and space (attacks can last longer in time, published information and photos can be difficult to remove).
Online aggression and cyberbullying is not a recent problem. Let's try to eliminate such behaviour not only in the digital environment, but also in real life. And let's not forget that, as in the offline world, we are responsible for our actions (statements) online.
