Despite my reluctance to get(my camera) wet and against my better judgement I decided it was worth the risk to venture out for these freight workings. Although very gloomy and overcast there was no significant rain so it was quite an enjoyable session.........
Until..... I tripped while climbing the footbridge (for the umpteenth time)and launched myself face first towards the steps. A quick reaction saved my good looks but my right hand and wrist took my full weight. The pain didn't kick in until I was driving home after catching the final two workings.
Nothing appears broken, just badly sprained and strapped up, hopefully I'll be fit enough to attend the 'Winter Steam Gala' at the GCR this weekend but not sure when the next freight session will be...... Not too long I hope!!
