The stages of a hawksbill turtle nesting on Milman Island!
Stage 1: Body-pitting.
Using her front and rear flippers, she will excavate the area in the sand.
Stage 2: Chambering.
She digs down to build her egg chamber and deposits her eggs.
Stage 3: Cover up.
She covers her eggs and pats down her nest.
Stage 4: Return to the ocean.
Her eggs will hatch in around sixty days.
