Network MIDI 2 0 Linux to Windows

Описание: On the right is a remote desktop from a Linux host into a PC with Windows 11 insider running Windows MIDI 2.0 service with the addtional network plugin. Om the left is Ubuntu 24.10 midi2net-list displayed all the MIDI 2.0 host on the internal network. Here it is only the Windows 11PC. The Linux tool midi2net-client connecting to the windows PC. This creates an MIDI port . MIDI 2.0 is a groups agnostic port (all groups and channels) while the other 16 are the 16 MIDI groups (like cables) each supporting 16 channels and only a specific group. The virtual keyboard sends data to the windows PC to the ALSA output port. The Windows MIDI tool shows the UMP data received.
