• Is God watching me?
• Does He listen?
• Is He able to work through our life circumstances, not matter how complex, to draw us to Him?

In his gripping story, Pastor Shahbaz recounts his journey. He briefly details a customary Shiite ritual to sacrifice a sheep for each baby born, which was performed when he and his twin brother arrived home from the hospital after their births. Shiite Muslims believe that sacrificing the life of a less important animal preserved the life of a human being.

Interested in spiritual things from an early age, Shahbaz recognized that two sacrifices had been given for his life—the sheep at his birth, which could not actually save him, and Jesus, the Lamb of God who die to save him and all of mankind from our sins.

In Two Sacrifices: One Destiny, Pastor Shahbaz shares the story of how God began to reveal His love through a Christmas celebration, a 1950s film, Christian education, a first prayer, and his quest for peace. God’s love of the inquisitive, impressionable, and determined Muslim boy was so incredible that he was compelled to share this love with family and friends.

The Power that has seen this pastor through trials, tragedies, triumph, and miracles is the same Power that has opened doors for him and other ministers of the gospel message to carry the good news to the worldwide Islamic community. This puts all people, including those who are Muslims, in a position to embrace the love of God through Jesus Christ His Son. With a strong cross cultural background Shahbaz has served the Seventh-day Adventist church for over 20 years as lay pastor, teacher and evangelist.
