সম্বুদ্ধে অটঠবীসঞ্চ, দ্বাদসঞ্চ সহস্সাকে
পঞ্চসত সহস্সানি, নমামি সীরসামহং
অপ্পকা বালুকা গঙ্গা, অনন্তা নিব্বুতা জিনা
তেসং ধম্মঞ্চ সংঘঞ্চ, আদরেন নমামহং
নমক্কারানুভাবেন হিত্বা সব্বে উপদ্দবে
অনেক অন্তরায়াপি বিনাস্সন্তু অসেসতো।

#গাথার অনুবাদঃ জগতের মধ্যে অনন্ত গুণের অধিকারী সর্বজ্ঞতা প্রাপ্ত ৫১২০২৮ জন সম্যক সম্বুদ্ধগণকে নতশিরে সশ্রদ্ধ চিত্তে বন্দনা জ্ঞাপন করছি। গঙ্গা নদীর বালুকারাশির চেয়ে অধিক সম্যক সম্বুদ্ধ পৃথিবীর মধ্যে উৎপন্ন হয়ে পরিনির্বাপিত হয়েছেন। সেই নয়টি গুণসহ অনন্ত অনন্ত গুণের অধিকারী ভগবান বুদ্ধকে সহ ঊনার আবিষ্কৃত নির্বাণ প্রদায়ী লোকোত্তর ধর্ম ও সুপ্পটিপন্নো ভিক্ষু সংঘকে নমস্কার করছি। এ শ্রদ্ধা চিত্তে বন্দনা জ্ঞাপন করার অনুভবের ফলে সকল প্রকার অন্তরায়-উপদ্রব সম্পূর্ণরূপে বিনাশ প্রাপ্ত হোক।
সম্বুদ্ধে গাথার অনুভবের শক্তি ৫ প্রকার গুণে পরিপূর্ণ রয়েছে-
১। আদেশ গুণ
২। সিদ্ধিময় গুণ
৩। মহাসিদ্ধিময় গুণ
৪। প্রজ্ঞাময় গুণ
৫। লাভ-সৎকার লাভের গুণ

এ গাথার গুণের দ্বারা যে কোন প্রকারের অন্তরায়, বাধা বিপত্তি, বুদ্ধ শাসনের বিপরীত অবরুদ্ধক মিথ্যাদৃষ্টি সম্পন্ন দেবতা, ভূত-প্রেত-যক্ষ-নাগ-গন্ধর্ব প্রভূতি ৯৯ প্রকারের অদৃশ্য ব্যক্তিবর্গ এবং ৮০ প্রকারের নিম্ন মন্ত্রের প্রভাবে যাদু-বান-টোনা-চালানের অপশক্তি-অপপ্রয়োগ ইত্যাদিকে বিদ্যুতের ন্যায়-আকাশের আলো চমকানোর ন্যায় দ্রুত গতিতে বিনাশ ও ধ্বংস করতে সক্ষম। একটি ধারালো তলোয়ারকে যেমন প্রতিনিয়ত ঘর্ষণ করলে ধারালো থেকে আরও তীক্ষ্ণ ধারালোতে পরিণত হয় তদ্রুপ আমরা যদি শ্রদ্ধা-বিশ্বাসের সহিত গাথাটি প্রতিদিন চর্চা করি তাহলে সকল প্রকার অন্তরায়মুক্ত, বাধামুক্ত, শত্রুমুক্ত, ভয়মুক্ত সুন্দর ও সুখী জীবন যাপন করতে সক্ষম হব।

#উপাখ্যানঃ প্রতিরূপ দেশ বার্মায় জাপানের শাসনকালীন একটি ঘটনা। তখন বার্মার অধিবাসীদেরকে নির্দোষী হয়েও দোষী সাজিয়ে নির্যাতন-নিপীড়ন করা হতো। এমন একজন অসহায়, নিরীহ ও সহজ-সরল লোককে ধরে এনে হাজতে ঢুকিয়ে রাখা হয়েছিল। সে সময় মামার জোড় বা টাকার জোড় বলতে কিছু ছিল না। বার্মাদেশে সম্বুদ্ধে গাথা সম্পর্কে জানে না যে এমন কেউ নেই। আবাল-বৃদ্ধ-বনিতা সকলেই এই গাথাটি জানতো। লোকটির আর কোন উপায় ছিল না। তাই সে সম্বুদ্ধে গাথা অধিষ্ঠান করে এক হাজার বার পাঠ করতে শুরু করলেন।।

By virtue of this ballad any kind of hindrance, obstacle, deity with obstructive false vision contrary to the rule of Buddha, demon-demon-yaksa-nag-gandharva, 99 types of invisible persons and the evil power of magic-ban-sorcery Etc. are capable of destroying and annihilating as fast as lightning in the sky. Just as a sharp sword is constantly rubbed, it turns from sharp to sharper, so if we practice the ballad every day with reverence, we will be able to live a beautiful and happy life free from all kinds of obstacles, free from obstacles, free from enemies, free from fear.
