Описание: Jerry Jeff Walker's songwriting masterpiece, 'Mr Bojangles', is about a character he met in a New Orleans jail -- an older, black man who made his living as a street dancer. Since Walker's original recording of the song in 1968, 'Mr Bojangles' has been covered by artists from around the world. This beautiful song has been one of Mike McClellan's show-stoppers since the days of Sydney's, PACT Folk Club in the late 1960s and early 70s. Few people have played and sung it with more feeling -- captured here at the Clarendon, Katoomba, Blue Mountains, NSW on Saturday, 17th November 2012 by Nigel Foote for the Folksinger Archive.
