7) Ergebnis & Fazit
Bündelung von Thema, Intention, möglicher Verortung und zusammenfassender Interpretation – nachvollziehbar aus den Arbeitsschritten heraus.

8) Religionspädagogischer Ausblick
Relevanz für Lernende: Gespräch zwischen Textanspruch und Lebenswelt anbahnen – kein Predigtteil, sondern didaktisch verantworteter Transfer.

The 8 chapters at a glance:

1) Introduction
Why this passage? State your guiding question, your point of entry, and the specific emphasis of your approach.

2) Establishing the text base
Start with a brief reflection on reception history (only as far as it shapes your own pre-understanding).
Define the boundaries of the pericope (beginning/end signals such as changes in place, characters, or time).
Compare several translations, note key differences, add textual-critical remarks from commentaries where relevant, and justify which translation/text form you will use as your working base.

3) Linguistic and historical analysis
Clarify realia and socio-historical/historical background with concrete subheadings.
Then do text-linguistic work: lines of meaning, key terms, tension arcs, syntax, structure, and coherence.
Tip: include a structured text outline (text sketch) in the appendix.

4) Authorial intent
Through form and genre analysis, determine what type of text you are dealing with and which structural features shape it.
From a pragmatic angle, describe the narrative/argumentative strategy: how does the text guide the reader? Which perspectives are opened or closed?

5) Contextual analysis (diachronic)
Ask about pre-texts, motif history, and possible editorial layers (breaks, doublets, tensions) and propose plausible explanations.
If helpful, include focused comparisons with extra-biblical literary or iconographic evidence, and examine synoptic or broader textual parallels.

6) The text within the larger theological/literary design (synchronic)
Read the passage within the book as a whole: neighboring units, composition, editorial emphases, and the situation of the addressed audience (as far as it can be responsibly inferred from text and research).

7) Results and conclusion
Synthesize theme, intention, possible historical placement, and your overall interpretation—clearly showing how the conclusion follows from the preceding steps.

8) Educational/didactic outlook
Outline relevance for learners: how can a conversation be initiated between the text’s claim and contemporary life-worlds? This is not a sermon section, but a didactically responsible transfer.
