Delray Beach marked a momentous occasion with the grand opening of newly refurbished public tennis courts at Pompey Park with none other than hometown hero Coco Gauff.
This initiative is part of the U.S. Open Legacy Initiative, created to celebrate Coco Gauff's historic 2023 U.S. Open women's singles title. The Pompey Park courts are the first major project completed as part of the initiative and were hand-picked by Gauff due to her personal ties to the park.
