Devil's Den dolmen is located near Avebury in Wiltshire. Megalithomaniac Hugh Newman investigates the site with Dave and Rob from http://www.road2ruins.com, and includes exclusive aerial footage of the site. It was once a mighty long barrow and has several legends associated with it. A local tradition said that if water was poured into hollows on the capstone, a demon would come in the night and drink it. This burial chamber was reconstructed in 1921. All that remains are two standing stones and a capstone with two fallen stones underneath. This was originally placed in the south-eastern end of a long mound which was described in the 1920s as being around 230ft long.
