The Princess of Wales has opened up about the long-term challenges of recovering after chemotherapy, as she visited a hospital in Essex.
“You’re not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to." She told patients at the hospital.
In January, the princess announced she was in remission from cancer, which had been diagnosed last year.
It was Catherine's first public engagement since pulling out of an appearance at Royal Ascot, the visit included planting flowers to highlight the therapeutic benefits of nature and promote awareness of its significance in enhancing physical and mental health.
