At the Doune Classic Speed Hillclimb, the Fisher Spyder's BMC 1380cc Engine lost oil pressure and most of its oil. The car was stopped about 30 seconds into a run when the lack of oil pressure was discovered.
The car was recovered back to the paddock where a large amount of oil was discovered in the engine bay. Luckily most of the oil had been contained by the undertray and did not get onto the track (too much). Some oil got onto the rear tyres which gave a scary moment in the "Tunnel" where speeds of 84mph were seen on the speed trap - I thought the tyres had gone off in the heat but it was my own oil causing the problem.
