So I saw the news like many of you this morning that the Akai MPC Firmware 2.10 dropped and had USB Audio. I was super excited, and thinking I would be using both the internal interface, and merge it with a USB interface. This does not work. You can only use the internal interface, or an external USB interface separately. Essentially you can only use one at a time.
This is kind of a bummer for me, but I am super excited about so many of the other features on 2.10. So I'll keep hoping that we get some more interesting USB Audio options in the future, but for now it's probably not going to be doing anything interesting for me until I get a better audio interface.
