Cab ride on Steam ''BottleTrain'' on Stainz Local Railway in Austria 4K (August 2022)

Описание: In this video you can enjoy the cab ride, the train drivers view from the historical steam train on the Steam BottleTrain (STAINZER FLASCHERLZUG) on Narrow-Gauge Stainz Local Railway in Austria in 4K-60 fps, running from Stainz to Preding - Wieselsdorf and back.

The 760 mm gauge railway was opened in 1892. The Flascherlzug started its special trips in 1971. The starting point is Stainz station. The train runs through the idyllic valley of the Stainzbach to the turnaround station in Preding-Wieselsdorf. The total length of the route is 11.4 km. The journey there and back takes about two hours.

Stainz station itself is very special. The buildings and facilities are over a hundred years old. The boiler house is one of the last remaining narrow-gauge boiler houses in Styria. Today, the colourful passenger cars are pulled by the "Resita" steam locomotive built in 1986. There are also some very interesting diesel locomotives and a large number of goods wagons. The steam train runs every weekend from spring to autumn, and diesel loco runs a few days during the week. During the winter time there are some special journeys.
There is a small museum, a restaurant and a souvenir shop in an old wagon at the Stainz station.
