Former Army PFC Chuck Martinez sits down to talk about his time in the service. Chuck grew up in Denver and he swore into the Army in 1948 as a 92G Food Service Specialist. He discusses how the Army struggled with integration at that time and how difficult it was to serve in a post World War II military. He also talks about being an Active Reservist and doing field time at, what was then known as, Camp Carson.
