Across Africa, medical laboratory associations are essential for advocacy, professional growth, and quality diagnostics, yet their capacities and resources vary widely. The Federation for Laboratory Professionals in Africa (FeLPA), in partnership with the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM), recently surveyed regional national associations to map their operational status, challenges, and priorities.
