That contrast is what makes Palika Bazaar such an interesting place to walk through.
It doesn’t feel like a modern shopping mall.
It feels much more intimate, dense and distinctly Delhi.
You are underground, beneath one of the busiest parts of the city, while hundreds of people above continue walking through Connaught Place without seeing any of this.
