Around 30,000 people were infected with HIV and hepatitis C through contaminated blood products in the 1970s and 1980s. Campaigners say that one person affected by the scandal dies every four days. The final report has been postponed until May.
We speak with Louise Huxley, whose brother Peter Lloyd, received a blood transfusion in 1985 after a car accident. Peter received a letter dated 6 November 1995, ten years later, from the National Blood Transfusion Service saying he may have received infected blood. Her brother Peter Lloyd was 55 when he died of liver cancer as a result of Hep C.
