Hello everybody, this is Jeff at Etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexter 12 and a quarter inch trailer hub and drum assembly with the 9/16th inch diameter wheel studs. They're 7,200 pound axles that have an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. Now when you're hauling serious weight, this Dexter hub and drum assembly is gonna deliver the reliability that you need. As we mentioned, it's made for 7,200 pound trailer axles that are built after 1999 and use a four bolt brake flange. The 12 and a quarter inch diameter, the two and a half inch wide drum gives your brake shoes a nice solid surface for grip for consistent stopping power.

You can see if I rotate this around, sort of lift this up, you'll be able to see your brake shoes can go here for regular hydraulic brakes. If you're using electric brakes, then you'll use this braking area right here. So it will work on either hydraulic or electric brakes. Now with a 3,600 pound individual hub capacity and an eight on six and a half inch bulk pattern, it is strong, dependable setup, built to handle demanding loads. It is a nice sturdy iron construction, and it will include everything I have laid out here on the table.

The hub and drum assembly, the pre-installed bearing races, the outer and inner bearing races are all pre-installed ready to go. The inner and outer bearings are included. The grease seals included the grease cap, and over here it includes eight of the 9/16ths by 18 size lug nuts. Now if you do need the part numbers on the bearings, the seal, the cap, they are all listed on the bottom of the product page of this part number. Again, bulk pattern we mentioned, eight on six and a half inches.

The wheel size little fit on this is 16 inch up to 17 and a half inches, and the wheel studs are 9/16 of an inch.
