The Anycubic Kobra S1 features a generous 250mm x 250mm x 250mm build volume and many of the usual offerings of a modern 3D printer. This includes a core xy motion system, nice touch screen, WIFI connectivity, on board time-lapse camera, integrated lighting, and connectivity to the Anycubic cloud app. It even has AI print failure detection and can apparently detect loose belts.

The ACE Pro multi material unit sets itself apart from the competition with an integrated filament drying system which is nice not to have to have an external dry box on hand.

The Anycubic slicer is also well equipped as it is derived from Orca Slicer - with material presets for very popular filament types and the profiles are suitable for those other brands such as eSun, Polymaker, Bambu Lab etc. As you should expect, the Anycubic PLA branded filament prints excellent on their own machines.

Overall, I would recommend the Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo for beginner and advanced users alike. Right now you can also buy the Kobra S1 with an extra ACE Pro to print up to 8 colors simultaneously!

If you are new to 3D printing I still think you should have realistic expectations of the learning curve involved with the hobby. The machine works well out of the box but if you happen to run into issues you will likely get frustrated at first. Take a deep breath, stick with it and don't give up! It doesn't matter if you have an Anycubic, Creality, Bambu Labs, or any other popular high speed printer of this era, eventually you will need to do some troubleshooting. Stick with it!
