Llandow Circuit Trackday Supercharged Mx5 Crash Video!

Описание: Well here it is.. A video of a few flying 46-48 sec laps at Llandow circuit ending in disaster by hitting the tyre wall at 30mph. Unfortunately bent chassis means its off to the scrappies. :(

Pretty gutting to lose this car it was great, and having happened so late on in the day with only 30 mins left we were so nearly there.
Brake pads were starting to shred and overheated causing a loss of pedal pressure. As shown in the pictures, the car is written off. Safety equipment did its job at least with no movement in the seats or harnesses.

Next steps:

Getting right back on it, and scavenging of the carcass has been taking place late into the night and the new mark 1 (mark 2) mx5 almost lives again with poly-bushed suspension and BBK (Wilwood 4-pot Midilites).
