Описание: This E-Lecture introduces new reflection imaging methodology, which deals with internal multiples. First, an iterative scheme retrieves focusing functions from reflection data at the surface, which focus onto virtual sources in the subsurface. Next, the responses to these virtual sources, the Green’s functions, follow from the focusing functions and the reflection data. Once these Green’s functions are obtained, reflection imaging can be carried out by which the primaries and internal multiples are mapped to their correct positions, with correct reflection amplitudes and without the occurrence of false images at wrong positions.
