Merrell’s or Salomon’s? Which is a better boot?

I like the Merrell’s for functional reasons. Safety toe, waterproof, and little taller of a boot for more support.
The Salomon’s are waterproof and awesome for comfort. They shine in this area. Long hikes in these things are a breeze. Even for just everyday tasks.
