Описание: Data is only useful if you can understand it. In the Open Source Smart Garden project, we turn raw sensor readings into actionable insights using Grafana, the world's most popular open-source visualisation tool.
Our cloud-hosted Grafana instance connects directly to the replicated InfluxDB database, which is efficiently managed on our Ampere Altra Development Platform (AADP) server. This setup allows us to:
Visualise Real-Time Conditions: Create dashboards that provide an immediate snapshot of conditions like soil moisture, temperature, and irrigation status across multiple sites.
Analyse Long-Term Trends: Use the time-series data to analyse water consumption, plant health indicators, and environmental changes over weeks, months, or years.
AI-Powered Insights: Receive summaries of your dashboard state from LLMs deployed in the cloud. Use an available service or deploy your own model on the AADP.
Set Up Alerts: Configure alerts to notify administrators of critical issues, like low moisture levels or sensor malfunctions.
A key long-term goal is to leverage this data for machine learning to provide even deeper insights. The performance of the AADP will be crucial as we build out these ML pipelines, utilizing the Ampere Altra CPU with product variants offering up to 128-cores with consistent performance and low-power Arm architecture.
