Описание: On April 10th, 2024, Democracy Media Network, in collaboration with the National Policy Forum (NPF) convened a multi-stakeholder discussion on “Protecting labour rights and promoting safer migration in Nepal”.

Attended by 17 key stakeholders from various sectors, the event welcomed Hon. Minister Dol Prasad Aryal, Minister of Labour, Employment, and Social Security, as the chief guest. Dr. Sameer Khatiwada - Senior Public Management Economist at ADB, delivered the keynote address, offering valuable insights into the advancements and challenges surrounding labor supply and demand dynamics, particularly in relation to fostering secure migration pathways for workers in Nepal.
