Father and son duo, Russell and Cavan Cameron wanted a fun car to toss around the track. Power comes from a custom built 9,000+ RPM 400 CID LS V-8 with twin Garrett turbos. They had to push the engine back 28" from its original position, so it now sits right under the dashboard. The functional intake scoop on the roof takes fresh air and feeds the Garrett turbos, which force air up the center of the interior and into a custom dual throttle body intake. The exhaust then exits the engine through custom made headers, gets piped back down the middle of the car and to the turbos, then the exhaust dumps into the rear diffuser. That underwing diffuser takes up about 1/3 the length of the car. With the engine pushed so far back, they were able to fit a double wishbone push rod suspension off a 2002 Raynard Champ car. Moving to the interior, the driver and passenger sit snuggly in Sparco Circuit 2 Carbon seats. Another feature is a custom CAN Bus steering wheel with some of Cavan's design. The CAN Bus system handles the traction control knob, torque control knob, power steering, paddle shifters and even turn signals... because this beast is still street legal! The only hint as what this car used to be is the Pontiac badge right above the license plate.
