Описание: The Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Department has stepped up preparations to address the possible impact of El Niño on farmers. Following Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s directions, the state has launched the ‘Rythanna Mee Kosam’ programme across Andhra Pradesh.

Under the initiative, village-level agricultural staff will visit farmers at their homes and create awareness about precautionary and mitigation measures. Action committees formed at the Rythu Seva Kendra level will prepare plans to address the potential impact of El Niño and support farmers.
