VIP MOVEMENT! Polish Air Force Boeing 737-800 (BBJ2) departing Ottawa (YOW / CYOW)

Описание: Welcome to Canada Mr. Tomasz Grodzki of Poland!

This special visit from the Polish Air Force bringing Tomasz Grodzki to Canada for a short trip.
Tomasz Grodzki is the Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, he is the 3rd person in order of precedence in Poland after the President and the Marshal of the Sejm.
Mr. Grodzki was in Ottawa to discuss meet with George Frey (Speaker of the Senate of Canada); to lay tribute to Canadian airmen who died in WWII while helping Poland and to discuss Ukraine. He was also celebrating the 232nd proclamation of the Polish May 3rd continuation in 1791.

The Polish Air Force currently operates a small fleet of 5 aircraft for VIP travel. This includes 2 Gulfstream G550's that can carry 16 people each, 1 re-configured 737-800NG that can carry 132 passengers and 2 737-800 BBJ2's that can 65 passengers. These 737BBJ's have also been outfitted with communication devices and anti-missile defence system.

The Polish Government also has 2 E-175's on lease from LOT airlines that they occasionally use.
This specific 737-800BBJ is their newest aircraft only being delivered in 2021. This is also my first time seeing the Polish Air Force!
