Under direction of the Recreation and Community Services Administrator, this position will be responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and managing all of the City's aquatics programs, classes, leagues and events; supervising 6 full-time and 135 part-time seasonal lifeguards and recreation staff; overseeing operations and maintenance of eight swimming pools at six different facilities; coordinating aquatics programs at multiple pools year-round; renting pool space to two large club swim teams; hosting numerous large competitions; and working closely with six high school swim teams through a Joint Use Agreement.
