PREVIEW:
After a shocking performance in the series opener, Pakistan will aim to bounce back and level the series when they face high-flying Bangladesh at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, in the second ODI Match.

The Bangla Tigers, on the other hand, will look to continue their momentum and put on another all-round show, sealing the series with a game in hand.

The Men in Green fielded as many as four debutants in the first ODI, and the inexperienced team collapsed dramatically after the 23-year-old Bangladesh speedster Nahid Rana ran the show.

Rana registered his career-best figures of 7-0-24-5 to derail Pakistan's batting line-up after Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat provided a steady start, adding 41 for the opening wicket.

Once the visitors were on the receiving end of a quality spell from Rana, Pakistan lost wickets like ninepins. They were bundled out for just 114, their lowest in ODIs against Bangladesh, in 30.4 overs after being asked to bat first by Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The Bangladesh skipper supported Rana beautifully and rattled the lower middle order with a three-wicket haul. Taskin Ahmed chipped in with a wicket, while Mustafizur Rahman picked up the final wicket. If not for Faheem Ashraf's 47-ball 37, Pakistan wouldn't have even crossed the 100-run mark.

Chasing a pretty low score, Bangladesh lost Saif Hassan's wicket early in Shaheen Shah Afridi's bowling. However, Tanzid Hasan Tamim displayed his class and slammed a quickfire 67 off 42 balls, with 7 fours and 5 sixes to secure an easy eight-wicket win for the hosts.

The 82-run stand between Tanzid and Najmul Hossain Shanto took the team close to the target before Litton Das chipped in to close out the run chase inside 16 overs. Shanto scored 27, while Das remained unbeaten on 3.

Apart from Shaheen, Mohammad Wasim Jnr scalped a wicket. Pakistan might be tempted to bring in Haris Rauf's extra pace, while the hosts are most likely to go with the same XI unless a rank turner is on offer.
