During a Jatra performance in Nua-Shasan village, Athagarh block, an unexpected incident occurred when a spectator threw a chair onto the stage. The event happened while the drama "Rajdarbar" was being performed, featuring Mama as heroine and Bapi Panda as hero.

The actors were performing a scene where the brother and sister receive a simulated electric shock when the chair was thrown. Both performers stated that the audience’s behavior was shocking and dangerous. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the Yatra artists have requested spectators to remain calm and avoid such actions for safety.
