Dates filmed varies in the video. Dates marked at the beginning of each clip. In 2022, the tallest hotel in Auburn Hills Michigan would begin a new chapter of its life by getting a huge makeover in renovations. The 80s style hotel was getting upgraded to look a lot more modern. Of course the 80s elevators would need to be updated as well in order for the hotel to fit this new modern theme.
These elevators were installed by Otis in 1989, and were modernized by Otis in 2022. As I've said many times, I am always happy to see a company modernize an elevator they once installed as opposed to a different company modernizing it from the original installer. Otis began the mod around mid 2022 and finished it in either late 2022 or early 2023. I was way overdue to return and get a video of the finished product. Anyways enjoy this video of the elevator modernization at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Auburn Hills Michigan.
