We Celebrated Sweden's CRAZY Midsummer Festival🇸🇪 (not like the horror movie)

Описание: Today is a very special episode! We're back in the country where we grew up to celebrate the season of light and the longest day of the year in Northern Sweden. Is Midsommar at all like it's portrayed in Ari Aster's horror movie? And if not, what is celebrating Midsommar actually like, and what is the little-known history behind this often misunderstood holiday? We'll get into all of that in today's video!

The video begins at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport before we fly up to the North of Sweden and the town of Luleå where we attend a traditional Midsummer celebration in Gammelstad, a UNESCO World Heritage City and ancient church town (kyrkstad). We make wreaths (flower crowns) and dance around the maypole by Hägnan.
