Описание: Featured here are some 7 inch Berliner Gramophone, Victor and Zonophone records in my collection from 1896 through about 1902. These early disc records have been a real passion of mine for many years as they contain some of the earliest voices and instrumental music from our past. Like early brown wax cylinders and early silent film, these disc recordings are tangible relics that transport us back in time to offer us a glimpse of what people listened to over 110 years ago. I conclude the video with a 1901 7-inch Victor Record from my collection, "Yuba Dam" by S. H. Dudley. It's a comic song about a fellow who tries to convince people that he wants to visit a town named Yuba Dam and everyone believes he is telling them "You Be Damned!". I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for stopping in for a visit.
