We build a "pure DOS" retro computer using an ASUS TX97-LE motherboard, 16 MB SDRAM, a Pentium 75 CPU, SD Card hard drive, Diamond Multimedia ISA sound card and Trident VGA PCI graphics card. #retro #motherboard #computer
After installing the motherboard, I install MS DOS 6.22 and drivers from floppy disk, old school style.
The we install Quake and run a quick benchmark. This set up will be part of my ongoing benchmarking and testing of various games, programs, and CPUs, video cards and sound cards.
