REACTION: Trinidad Chambliss Ruled ELIGIBLE to Return to QB the Ole Miss Rebels in 2026!

Описание: A Mississippi state judge, Robert Whitwell, granted Trinidad Chambliss a preliminary injunction against the NCAA, allowing him to be eligible to play college football in 2026 for Ole Miss. This injunction comes as part of Chambliss’ ongoing lawsuit challenging the NCAA’s denial of an extra year of eligibility.

Chambliss had sought a sixth season of eligibility after the NCAA refused his waiver request, despite medical issues that kept him from playing in 2022. The NCAA denied the waiver and an appeal, concluding that the documentation didn’t meet its requirements. Ole Miss and Chambliss argued the denial was arbitrary and contrary to the medical evidence.

Judge Whitwell ruled that the NCAA failed to properly consider Chambliss’s medical history and “ignored its own rules.”

Chambliss, one of college football’s top quarterbacks last season, is now cleared to return to play next year at Ole Miss, boosting the Rebels’ outlook for 2026.
