Here's a three-point checklist that'll help make sure your outreach is on point.
1. Your intro. It should be short and sweet—just enough context to get the conversation started. For example: "Hey [name], I'm a huge fan of [their name]. Just wanted to say hi!"
2. Why you're reaching out. What's in it for them? What do they get out of talking to you? For example: "I'd love to chat about how your content has changed my life and how it could change others' lives too."
3. The magic phrase: No strings attached. This means exactly what it sounds like—no sales pitch!
